Volcube announces v2.1

Volcube announces Volatility Management and enhanced Market algorithms

LONDON, UK – FEBRUARY 28, 2011 – Volcube, (www.volcube.com), the derivatives simulation and training technology company, today announced the release of version 2.1 of the software, including functionality to give users in-game control over theoretical implied volatilities and improvements to market algorithms.

“This incremental release is a direct result of listening to the needs of our customers and delivering a timely solution”, said Sales and Marketing Director Richard Wilson.  “Our customers saw the value in working with theoretical implied volatility, but could also see that being able to refresh the pricing sheets with market implied volatility would be of great benefit”.

The new Volatility Manager allows users to update their vol surface to reflect the current simulation market or even to run real-time market volatilities that auto-update with market activity.  This allows users to experiment with different trading strategies and also allows firms to train their staff in ways more closely in keeping with their own preferred in-house methodology.
